Summer Term 2
Well here we are – our last week of Home Learning tasks and our last week of school. This week’s tasks are all found on the “Innovate Board” below and are all creative – you get the chance to design and create your very own art exhibition based on all your learning from Blue Abyss. If we’d been in school, this is what we would have done too, so please remember to take photos and send them onto us so we can all visit your exhibitions virtually!
We hope you’ve enjoyed learning all about our oceans and the creatures and plants that live in them alongside the terrible consequences and impact pollution is having on them. Now, more than ever, we have an opportunity to take action and from your posters and letters we can see that you all feel very strongly about this. Thank you for all of your emails, your photos and all the wonderful work you have shared with us; we’ve loved receiving them and reading what you and your families have been up to. We are really looking forward to seeing all of your work once we get back to school BUT more than that – we can not wait to see you all again after the summer break!!
Have a wonderful summer – whatever you get up to! Remember to send in photos of your art exhibition and we’ll pop them on the website.
Thank you again for all your hard work and support and friendship through these “interesting” times! Take care and keep well.

A few years ago, after the broadcasting of Blue Planet II, the world seemed to wake up to the fact that as humans we are causing great problems for our oceans. This week, our topic focuses on plastic pollution and the devastating effects it is having on marine wildlife now and in the future.

Mindfulness Walk – go on a walk with your family and choose not to talk for between 1 and 5 minutes. What can you hear? Enjoy being in the moment and think about how your feet feel on the ground.
